Water is an elementary habitat and a functioning water cycle is the basis of all life.
Every use of water, be it in the household, by commerce, industry or public institutions, leads to contamination, which pollutes the waters depending on the capacity of the sewage treatment plant. The resulting task of securing our environment ecologically, in compliance with legislation, and above all, preserving our habitat for humans, animals and plants, is the primary goal.
In the everyday life of business, industrial companies and as a private person, there is a great need for effective water management. In order to understand the effects of the various substances in wastewater on the environment and to be able to influence them, one first needs a solid knowledge of the substances and their analytical detection. Furthermore, one should master the physical, chemical or biological processes to avoid environmentally relevant pollutants, to convert them into harmless substances or to dispose of them in a way that is safe for humans and the environment.
