With a turnover of nearly 3 billion euros and 6,000 employees worldwide, SNF, the Loire-based chemical company, is a heavyweight in the water industry.  For the first time, the company has set concrete targets for reducing its carbon footprint and use of natural resources.  The aim is to demonstrate that its business is not incompatible with its environmental commitments, by using a number of levers combining decarbonization of energy, new technologies, and responsible chemistry.
